We at Luxfer-GTM Technologies can’t be any more excited to be teamed up with Hawaii Center for Advanced Transportation Technologies (HCATT). For the first day of Eat the Street Hawaii Octoberfest with its partner, HCATT will be bringing clean energy awareness with food, fun, and bringing the community together on Sept. 29 at Kakaako Waterfront Park.
HCATT, administered through the Hawaii Technology Development Corporation (HTDC), will highlight clean technologies in transportation and mobile power supply throughout the evening, coinciding with National Energy Action Month.
HCATT will supply clean power and lighting for the Eat the Street Hawaii Oktoberfest event by utilizing their fuel cell light carts and generators manufactured by Luxfer GTM. Servco will be showcasing the hydrogen fuel-powered Toyota Mirai onsite for Eat the Street patrons to learn more about fuel cell technology in transportation. The Blue Planet Foundation, the Sustainable Transportation Coalition of Hawaii and the State Energy Office will also have a presence to share exciting news about the clean energy efforts happening across the state.
Our Zero-Sets integrates Luxfer’s lightweight, high-pressure, composite cylinder technology with highly reliable and efficient fuel cell technology to offer users cleanest portable power source available on the market. Fuel cells provide 60% operating efficiencies over traditional gas/diesel generators, which are 20% to 25% efficient.
This event kicks off a month full of clean energy events for us at Luxfer-GTM.
