The release of the GTM-1350 Refueler

The release of the GTM1350-R, Mobile CNG Refueling Trailer San Francisco, CA (April 23, 2014).

Luxfer-GTM Technologies, LLC is now shipping its patented, mobile, CNG refueler which presents a revolution in size, capacity, and capability for dispensing high-pressure CNG. The GTM1350-R has a CNG capacity of 46,000scf (335DGE); an integrated, onboard booster pump; and a dispenser mounted on a compact trailer, towable behind a standard ¾ ton pick-up truck (total gross weight: 9,150lbs). The pump can be powered by either outside compressed air (100psig) or from the pneumatic energy stored in an isolated grouping of cylinders within the trailer, providing users the ability to fill vehicles without the need for external power.

The GTM1350-R is intended to support remote vehicle fleets, disaster recovery fueling, and other mobile CNG applications. An optional plumbing panel allows users the versatility to reverse the gas flow and fill the GTM1350 with gas recovered from stranded wells, flare gas sources, and landfills.

The GTM1350-R uses Luxfer’s G-Stor Pro, type 3 cylinders; a proprietary, glass bulb PRD system; and ½” full flow ball valves on each cylinder. These key elements provide customers with fast filling and fast discharging (up to 75mscfh) characteristics that are unmatched with traditional steel or type 4 tube trailers. Standard equipment includes both a NGV1 and NGV2 filling receptacles mounted in a separate panel so that customers can easily refill the trailer at conventional CNG filling stations.

“The GTM1350-R addresses the demands we keep hearing from the market and give them more, high pressure,” says Michael Koonce, GTM Technologies’ president. “We designed the GTM1350 to keep pace with the varying and growing requirements of CNG users in an innovative way. There is nothing on the market today that can carry this much CNG behind a pick-up truck while high-pressureCNG.” The GTM1350-Refueler is now available for sale or lease.
